<P>为庆祝荷兰气象学院成立150周年，荷兰电信集团邀请<A href="http://www.experimentaljetset.nl/" target=_blank><FONT color=#0000ff>EJ</FONT></A>（Experimental Jetset）设计电话卡（<A href="http://www.experimentaljetset.nl/archive/phonecards.html" target=_blank><FONT color=#0000ff>TelephoneCard</FONT></A>）。作为命题作文，荷兰电信集团邀请了三位重要的荷兰诗人，每人写一句诗，由EJ依据这三句诗提出设计方案。</P>
<P>EJ的挑战是──如何将这些诗句与天气联系起来，又不能太直白。EJ希望以气象学的方式来体现这些诗句，比如测量一个词的温度？</P>
<P>经过努力，EJ有了如下设计：</P>

<P>Instead of the temperature, we measured for this card the ‘wind-force’ of the words, in shifted centiliters breath per second. <P>EJ找到一家实验室，通过使用高敏感的温度计和肺活量计，来测量其诗句被口中念出时的温度、以及口腔向外的风力。这项设计表明了，借以气质相符合的客观物质化的方式来处理或表现一些非物质化的事物（比如诗歌），成为可能。另外，电话卡本身跟说话有关，与嘴相关的元素，体现在电话卡上，也再适合不过。</P>
<P><STRONG>含蓄的设计之二：手镯</STRONG></P>,nDF%x$dk9G
<P>小饰物有很多，手镯，戒指等等，往往两款配在一起会有特别的含义，比如很有名的北欧风格的单身戒指<A href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singelringen" target=_blank><FONT color=#0000ff>SingelRingen</FONT></A>，其样式是戒环上有一个半圆形的缺口，两个戒指在一起，就圆满了。（值得一提的还有它的营销理念，每个戒指都有编号，而SingelRingen的<A href="http://www.singelringen.com/" target=_blank><FONT color=#0000ff>网站</FONT></A>就是一个单身社区，购买者可以凭编号去网站开始交友）。</P>B u)`3K [c [/Y

<P>re:vision 是用废旧的相机上的零件（如光圈），经手工精细打磨而成的手镯。从上图中你会看到有光圈刻度，这一下就将时间的概念直接地引入进来。按杂志上的说法，可以送给恋人，将时刻调到无穷大:)</P> s?r*E Q
<P>设计师的观察力和嗅觉实在重要，并且还要能努力将念头付诸实践。</P>
